The high ignition temperature and limited flammability range make accidental ignition or combustion of natural gas unlikely. Since fuel systems are sealed to prevent spills or evaporative losses, the natural gas will dissipate into the atmosphere because it is lighter than air.losses, even if a leak occurs the natural gas will evaporate.
